Zip around in Renault’s Twizy

Renault has started taking reservations for its Twizy. This electric vehicle is made in Spain and should go on sale in Europe at the end of of this year. Its design is a little avant garde, a little futuristic for some. But its functional design is perfect to zip around town to run errands.

There are two versions of the Twizy. One is fancier while the other one is smaller and fuss free.  

Both versions of the the lightweight, two-seater have a range of 62 miles on a full charge. Powered by lithium-ion batteries, Renault says the vehicle can reach full capacity in three and a half hours from a standard outlet.
