Electric Cars come in handy in Japan

Most assume that an all terrain vehicle or a rugged 4 wheeler like a Hummer would be the ideal vehicle to navigate in the wrecked cities of northeastern Japan. The disaster stricken is littered with much debris and travelling around the area is still difficult.
Interestingly, electric cars has become the best service vehicle. “Welterweight sedans” from Mitsubishi and Nissan are the real winners simply because they can refuel at common electrical outlets. With oil refineries out of commission and clogged roadways hindering gasoline deliveries, electric cars edged out of the competition slightly.
