SsangYong offered participants at the Seoul Motor Show a sneak of their plans for the electric vehicle segment with their KEV2 Concept.

The designs are based on the new Korando SUV, but with modifications made. The grille is different and there is a sharp hook-like LED headlights and a unique body kit.

Performance wise, KEV2 is powered up by a 120kW electric motor and a 35kWh lithium-ion battery pack, thereby giving it a driving range of around 180km and a top speed of 150km/h.  The battery pack can be fully recharged in about 30 minutes using a specialised rapid-charging outlet, or around eight to 10 hours using a home power outlet.

According to Motor Report, the unveiling of the KEV2 follows the SUT 1 concept shown at the Geneva Auto Show, which is expected to replace the current Actyon Sports ute in the coming year.
