New SMS Alert! GM introduces Onestar Mylink mobile app

For the tech savvy EV drivers, here’s a free app that will text or email you notifications about the status of your car.

General Motors has developed a mobile app Onestar Mylink and  according to Calgary Herald, this app will allow you to check your gas, check battery levels and other diagnostic information plus check that you locked the doors when you left the car. This app which works with the Chey Volt, works on Apple’s iPhone and iPads, as well as Android smartphones and tablet computers and it keeps track of electric components of the Volt and also GM’s more conventional cars.
