BMW ActivE coupe

With the promise that the ActiveE will be “100% electric, 100% BMW and with the ability to go 100 miles on a charge, it sure sound like there’s something exciting over at BMW. BMW intends to put 700 of these cars to the roads and if this test proves to be a success, BMW will produce an electric vehicle it had designed from scratch to run on battery power. A lightweight aluminum chassis and a strong, light carbon-fiber passenger-compartment cell, this car may be called i3 but BMW states it is not a replica of the current 3-series sedan.
