Tougher car emission rules for Singapore in the pipeline

The truth may be that there may be a price to pay for going green. And this cost will be borne by drivers, not the motor or oil industries. Echoing  Mr Ng Weng Hoong’s comments: ‘If I had just spent $500 million to build a desulphurisation plant, you can be sure I will try to recover the cost. Furthermore, the expected date of implementation is in 2014.
