EV of 1947
While some electric vehicles are looking more like something out of a sci-fi movie, we thought this old boy from the archives of Nissan is quite an interesting picture. Named the “1947 Tama”, the lead-acid battery-powered two-door was originally developed by unemployed aircraft engineers of Tachikawa Airplane Company in response to post-war oil rationing. And somewhere down the Tachikawa’s company history, it merged with Nissan.
